[sitewide notice] changes to staff of the site

just so your all clear that I am now running Fanfictionworld.org website and forums alone since both Fruitcake and milzena have done vanishing acts it seems oh well its their loss Ive got no choice but to oficially fire them from the staff of fanfictionworld.org

this means people that I need new staff so if you would be interested in such a position then head over to the forums where an application form and details of various positions are now avaliable

Gallery to be replaced

rule reminder - I wont ask nicely again

I have just removed another members account for signing up and ignoring the sites bio required rule

the next one to do it will have their account banned server-wide as well as having it deleted now it shouldnt have had to come to this but it has because some of you wont play by the rules

update to my mod - recommend a story to a friend

I just noticed a small error in my recommend a story to a friend script which meant you could only just see the submit button on the reccommend a story form page this has now been corrected to access it simply go to any stories chapter index page and underneath you will see the link to the recommend this story to a friend link simply click that and enter your friend(s) emails into the forma nd your good to go

if you notice anything else wrong on the site let me know please so I can fix it

the unused member accounts that I said would be deleted if they were not used as detailed in my post below have now been removed from the server, if you find yourself deleted and wish to rejoin the site then you may do so

just to make you all aware that In 24 hours I will be starting this months purge of the members list where inactive accounts are removed so if you havant been using your account then I suggest you do so of course if you get yourself deleted in this way you are free to rejoin the site at anytime

reminder(again and last time im going to be nice) about rules

When I said a user bio was required I meant a proper one not a one word bit of crap ok so people last warning about user bios on your profile if its blank or just has one word like "hi" like the latest person who registered and got removed your account will be deleted and the next person that does it will be banned server-wide because im tired of asking nicely so yeah follow the site rules or be gone you have been warned

and for those members that are following the rules please also sign up at the forums and start posting there too! click forums in the main menu to go there!

first Validated author-congratulations Paradox

I am pleased to announce that a member on the site has earned Validated Author Status which means that they can post directly to the site without an admin/validator having to check their work, they earned this status because they have consistantly submitted work to the site that meets the sites rules and guidelines, congratulations Paradox on becoming the first member to earn validated author status here at fanfictionworld.org shortly they will have an icon in their user profile as a mark that they have validated status...

if you want to get validated status like paradox then keep submitting work that meets the site rules and you will proberbly be granted this status eventually

Effective Immediatley, I will be running the fanfictionworld.org site on my own untill I find a suitable replacement for "fruitcake" who I have decided to officially Fire as of now

so my message is clear if you dont do your job as an admin/moderator/fanfic validator /whatever then you will be fired

reminder of rules

please people unless your a validated author the rules currently state that you may only submit 3 chapters at a time of any story that your submitting

i.e say your submitting 2 seperate storys to the system then you may submit 3 chapters of Each story to the system before you have to wait for your approval/decline emails before submitting more

so please obey the rules people as I dont want to have to temporarly ban any of you
